On behalf of our client, a global bank, we're looking for a:

Data Scientist in Warsaw

Responsibilities as Data Scientist:

- Collect and analyse data and generation of fast-based insights
- Utilise various data sources and analytical techniques to extract valuable information covering business needs
- Present insights and recommendations to business partners
- Cooperate with business, risk, technology and operations areas of consumer business
- Gather and analyse competitors data where available
- Create machine learning data products
- Support business implementation to improve targeting, increase the number of customers acquired and optimize acquisitions costs

Ideal Data Scientist:

- 4+ years experience as a Data Scientists
- Knowledge of Python, SQL and SAS skills, experience with relational databases
- Knowledge of statistics and modelling (e.g. propensity models) and in Machine Learning methods
- Experience in development and implementation of machine learning and statistical models
- Knowledge in at least one modern data mining/statistical environment (Hadoop, SPSS, SAS Enterprise Miner etc.)
- Experience in retail banking and knowledge of banking products is a bonus
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of Big Data concepts
