On behalf of our client, a well-know 5 star hotel, we're looking for a:

Event Manager Assistant

Main responsibilities:

  • Working hand in hand with the Event Manager
  • Conducting face-to-face and telephone sales talks and event arrangements
  • Preparation of offers, contracts, event procedures (BEO) with follow-up measures and corresponding correspondence
  • Planning and organization of event bookings such as conferences, weddings or group requests for ski & golf (incentives)
  • Cooperation with catering and event partners
  • Personal support of the organizer on site
  • Coordination, organization and support of the Front of House / Back of House departments during and after the events
  • Know GHM products and the standards to present them during house tours
  • F&B reservations from 8 persons, manage booking processes in the program "Aleno"
  • Create, control and maintain group reservations in Opera
  • Follow-up of the events
  • Invoice control with the front office and F&B department
  • Maintaining customer relationships and expanding the customer database
  • Contribution of ideas and creativity for the continuous further development of new projects

Ideal profile:

  • Completed vocational training as well as experience in the hotel or catering industry
  • First experience/knowledge in the field of group reservation
  • Communication and negotiation skills, solution-oriented behaviour
  • Independent work and attention to detail
  • Sense of responsibility and organization
  • Safe, friendly appearance, joy in dealing with people, well-groomed appearance
  • Team Player
  • Very good German and English, other languages are an advantage
