On behalf of our client, a global telecommunications company, we’re looking for a:

VAS Engineer in Warsaw

Main Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for VAS (Value Additional Service) Projects/CRs (Change Request) roll out, commissioning and acceptance test
• Perform the technical support, routine maintenance tasks (including 24/7 on duty shift), including troubleshooting, handle the alarms and system improvement
• Support bidding and CRs request leading to new POs
• Assure technical assistance for solving customer inquiries and issues
• Provide customer support, and improve customer relationships
• Take part in technical training and improve knowledge of the VAS Engineer team by sharing experiences

Ideal VAS Engineer:

• Bachelor Degree or higher education in Telecommunications / Electronics Engineering / IT or similar
• 3+ years experience of a VAS engineer
• Knowledge of the telecoms industry
• Solid knowledge of Online Charging System / Intelligent Network / Gateway Mobile Location Center) and technologies as a significant differentiator
• Understanding of Linux (Redhat / Suse) / Database (oracle / Sybase / Mysql) / IP (Switch / Router)
• Excellent English and Polish
• Team player, with strong analytic and problem solving skills
• Willing to work in the Warsaw office on a regular basis
• Already have a good network of people in the telecoms industry in Warsaw
• Willingness to work in shifts of in a flexible program
