An exciting opportunity has arrisen for an induvidual to join an independent firm who offer a broad range of professional services. 

The role is a 14 month contract based in cardiff to support the winning of new opportunities by coordinating activities and information internally in order to present quality material for tender submission. 

• Gather, write, assess, edit and present material for bids, prequalification questionnaires, expressions of interest and other tendering opportunities being pursued, working closely with bid directors and managers
• Manage and share information from opportunity tracking portals in order to maintain up-to-date flows of information about new opportunities to the business
• Gather, write, assess, edit and present material for award submissions, working closely with project teams to shape winning submissions
• Gather, compose, shape and edit information and images in order to coordinate the creation of new (and the updating of existing) client presentations
• Gather information regarding clients to inform client relationship management, plans and activities
• Work with individual members of staff and teams to produce accurate and compelling social media content 
• Author, edit and upload announcements via internal communication channels
• Assist in research for specific client and market research initiatives
• Work closely with other business development and marketing staff across the West to input on projects as and when required
• Respond to queries raised within the business development discussion forum

• Experience of working within a bid team, or in a role involving ongoing bid support, for an organisation pursuing new work via structured tender processes; or significant communications experience, including the drafting of original copy to meet detailed briefs
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet exacting deadlines
• Willingness and ability to expand on existing software skills in order to: maintain CRM processes; maintain Excel documents and undertake data analysis; and manage bids via multiple web-based portals
• Ability to work as an effective member of both a small, geographically-disparate team as well as a member part of short-term bid teams
