The Opportunity:
This position is suitable for newly qualified individuals in the field of Optometry!
As an Optometrist with us, you will have the opportunity to deliver best-in-class optical and vision consultation services, working closely with our Store Manager and sales team to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and achievement of store target.
Salary up to AED 15,000/- pm tax free + monthly incentives
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive eye testing and write prescriptions
Dispense and sell optical frames, contact lenses, and sunglasses
Ensure accuracy and comfort of optical frames and contact lenses
Provide expert advice to customers on eye wear options and optical products
Meet sales targets for optical frames, sunglasses, and contact lenses
Assist sales staff with transactions and provide support as needed
Manage in-shop inventory and order stocks as required
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the store
Collaborate with sales representatives from eye care product suppliers
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in optometry
2 to 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a retail optical store environment
Strong knowledge of lenses and other eyewear products
Familiarity with vision disorders and latest vision correction techniques
Proficiency in computer usage
Excellent communication skills in English, other European languages a bonus (spoken and written)
Pleasant personality with impeccable grooming standards
Exceptional customer service skills
Additional Information:
Role involves comprehensive customer engagement throughout the entire customer journey, from initial welcome to selection of frames and lenses.
Successful candidates will need to complete the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license process for acquiring the DHA Optometrist Eligibility license (cost supported by the company)
