We are currently seeking a dedicated Technical Service Engineer to become an integral part of our Graphics division. This role is essential for maintaining the highest level of service for our clients by providing 24-hour on-call support on a rotational basis. The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting system failures, malfunctions, and breakdowns both remotely and on-site and will be the cornerstone of delivering both routine maintenance and emergency support to our major clients in Northern Europe, who will visit customer sites, performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of industrial printing machines operating with flexo printing technology. 🌍

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Equipment Performance: Conduct routine maintenance at customer premises.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency callouts within a 6-hour timeframe and complete tasks promptly.
  • Remote Troubleshooting: Utilize diagnostic tools to resolve issues at customer sites.
  • Safety Assurance: Identify and report safety issues and potential equipment failures.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Procure parts and equipment, implement improvement plans.
  • Standards Compliance: Install, modify, test, and inspect new equipment to uphold maintenance standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain reports, travel expenses, and monthly summaries.
  • CRM Management: Keep company CRM and record-keeping systems updated with reliable information.

📋 Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering: Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a multi-skilled maintenance role, with specific experience in flexo printing, narrow web printing, or wide web printing.
  • PLC Experience: Basic understanding and experience with PLC systems.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English (B2-C1 level); German is a plus.
  • Willingness to Travel: Willing to travel 75% of the time, primarily in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, France, and Italy.

  • Travel: Spend approximately 3 weeks per month at customer sites and one week in the home office, always returning home for weekends.
  • Work Hours: Standard office hours, Monday to Friday; rare night or weekend contact.
  • Salary: Competitive, with location-based adjustments, plus up to 10% annual bonus.
