About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Policy and Procedures Specialist for a fixed-term 6-month contract to lead the development, writing, and implementation of our internal HR policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all documentation aligns with current Polish labour legislation, supports our company culture, and provides a clear framework for employees and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and write comprehensive HR policies and procedures in line with Polish labour law.
- Review existing documentation (if any) and identify gaps or areas for improvement.
- Consult with relevant internal stakeholders (HR, legal, management) to ensure alignment with company practices and legal compliance.
- Ensure policies reflect best practices in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, disciplinary processes, grievance handling, leave entitlements, health and safety, and termination.
- Create easy-to-understand policy documents and templates that can be used by both HR and employees.
- Provide guidance or training sessions to relevant staff on newly implemented policies.
- Stay updated on changes in local employment legislation to ensure continued compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR policy writing or HR compliance roles, ideally in Poland.
- Strong knowledge of Polish labour law and HR best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to translate complex legal requirements into accessible internal documents.
- Ability to work independently and manage timelines effectively.
