Job Title: Sous Chef (chocolate) / Cocolaitier

Location: Bahrain or Saudi Arabia

in Bahrain or in Saudi Arabia? If yes, that’s great!

We are currently seeking for our client a Sous Chef (chocolate)/ Cocolaitier to run a chocolate program, create workflow plans for daily and future orders, and lead chocolate team to create high-quality, handcrafted chocolate confections.

Our client, as a franchise, operates hotels, restaurants, spa center and fitness center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run our chocolate program and create workflow plans for daily and future orders.

• Lead and mentor the chocolate team, providing training and support as needed.

• Temper all types of chocolate using various techniques to create molded or hand-shaped confections.

• Utilize knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques to maximize the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the history, flavor, texture, and other properties of chocolate
to properly create desserts, candies, sculptures, and decorative pieces.

• Have expertise in decorating confections using all types of decorating materials, such as spray guns, transfer sheets, and writing skills.
