Regional Finance Manager
An established international business is seeking an experienced Regional Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations of its subsidiaries across India, Malaysia, and Singapore. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations and Indian GAAP, and effective management of all accounting and financial control processes.
This is a hands-on leadership role managing a small finance team and working closely with senior stakeholders to support commercial performance, forecasting, and financial governance.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial functions including accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and management information.

Ensure robust financial controls and processes are in place to meet audit and compliance requirements.

Manage timely submission of all tax filings in collaboration with external accountants and advisors.

Lead cashflow management activities, including budgetary control, payment authorisation, and bank reconciliations.

Monitor and minimise trade debtor balances, including oversight of debtor statements and write-offs where required.

Support ongoing forecasting and budgeting processes, including salary adjustments and business performance targets.

Review Profit & Loss accounts to ensure accuracy and correct allocation across business units.

Monitor revenue recognition and investigate discrepancies with account and business leads.

Oversee intercompany revenue accounting and ensure accurate recording across entities.

Manage accruals, prepayments, balance write-offs, and month-end accounting adjustments.

Supervise monthly payroll processing, payroll journals, and balance sheet reconciliations for each subsidiary.

Coordinate with external accountants to ensure all statutory and regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time.

Maintain intercompany loan reconciliations and process foreign exchange journals where required.

Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and oversee monthly depreciation postings.

Manage trade creditor listings and aged balance reviews.

Maintain reconciliations relating to company lease obligations.
Reporting & Communication

Monthly financial reporting and presentation of accounts by the 22nd of each month.

Participation in fortnightly finance review meetings with senior finance leadership.

Regular collaboration with senior non-finance stakeholders across the business.
Candidate Profile

Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong financial control and management accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP and local statutory reporting requirements.

Excellent numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.

Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple regions.

Experience managing finance teams and working in a multi-entity international environment.

Experience using NetSuite would be advantageous.
