A prestigious 5-star hotel in remote Ireland is seeking an experienced Pizza Chef with strong expertise in wood-fired oven cooking to join its high-performing, multi-national culinary team. This role is ideal for a specialist pizza chef who understands traditional techniques, quality ingredients, and premium presentation within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, stretch, top, and cook pizzas using a wood-fired oven to high professional standards

Manage dough preparation, fermentation, and hydration processes

Maintain consistency in quality, texture, and flavour profiles

Control oven temperatures and fire management for optimal cooking results

Ensure high standards of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance

Manage mise en place and daily production planning

Work effectively within a multi-national kitchen team

Contribute to menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings
Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef in a professional kitchen environment

Demonstrated experience with wood-fired ovens (essential)

Experience in 4-star / 5-star hotels, fine dining, or high-end restaurants preferred

Strong understanding of dough fermentation, flour types, hydration, and baking techniques

Good English communication skills (essential)
